The host was great he went out of his way to ensure we had the best information about the Island. House was very clean and spacious with a great well equipped kitchen. The staff was also very accommodating and friendly. I would recommend this to my friends and family. Lovely

My family’s weeklong stay at Tantalus was wonderful. From initial communication all the way through departure, JP and Heather were 100% communicative and accommodating, taking extra steps to help set us up for a successful week with our toddler son.

The house itself is gorgeous and the views divine. A fully equipped kitchen and house layout left us feeling at home. The terrace made for perfect long and lazy afternoons and relaxed evenings. The house’s beachfront location is divine. The beach itself is wonderfully peaceful. There are seaside food and drinks to be had at restaurants in walking distance in either direction. I should mention too here that Shelley, on JP and Heather’s staff, makes a wonderful fish curry if you arrange with her ahead of time.

I highly recommend JP and Heather’s home and would return in a heartbeat.

My Family and I had an amazing time! Tantalus is such a beautiful property and fit my large group very comfortably. JP was very accommodating and responsive. The staff at Tantalus were super helpful and very friendly. The property is very much like the pictures with a great balcony view of the beach from the master bedroom. At the end there was some water issues on our side of the island but JP was very proactive in finding us additional accommodations while the water issues were being resolved. If we ever go back to Barbados, I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Tantalus looked excellent online and was even better live, if that’s possible, for our ten day visit. We are regular visitors to Barbados and know the beaches. Brighton beach is the best. It is private - but not secluded - and the water is calm. The villa is spacious ( there were 9 of us - 6 adults and 3 children) and the view from the large balcony/ living room is spectacular, as is the view from the balcony of the master bedroom. The villa is also equipped with every thing that one would need. Nevertheless, Heather and JP were always offering to provide even more! Andrea was wonderful and became an “addition” to the family. Shelley’s breakfast and roti dinner were excellent. Robert and Mr. Johnson were also very helpful (including displaying the turtles to the kids). Congrats to Heather and JP for being excellent “hosts” . We are looking forward to a return visit.

Simply fantastic. Fabulous hosts. Awesome well equipped Villa and great team. Our group of 9, 4 adults, 2 teenage boys & 3 kids had a unforgettable two week stay. Great communication during the booking process and met by the owner, Heather on arrival and made to feel at home from day one. Neat, clean Villa that exceeded expectations. Great pool and Jacuzzi and beautiful golden sand beach just steps from the front door. Great snorkelling and crystal clear waters. Special thanks to all the team who made our stay comfortable, Andrea for keeping the Villa clean and tidy every day and to Shelly for cooking some great food for us and Mr Young who was on call throughout the night. Tranquil and safe area. As we leave we do so with heavy hearts but great memories and we already look forward to returning soon. Finally thanks to Heather and JP, the owners and congratulations on your 35th wedding Anniversary. Thanks for letting us stay, for taking such good care of us and for letting the kids look after you lovely little dog Vino.
